the TD's to Vaughns at the end of first half and the clincher to Raymond were awesome shows of speed.

Tania needs to remind Jordan to keep his feet.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Having a nice experienced O Line, a stable of Receivers and running backs helps a lot.
Quick release, nice touch, pocket presence, threat to run, can read Defenses and is still only a Soph. If he continues to get better I think he will play on Sundays.

After that play he got lifted up on I turned to the guy next to me and said "Tania's not gonna like that one."

Once he got to his phone he saw this text: ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Are you trying to get hurt? Don't be a clown, no one likes a clown!!" :disappointed:

What is most impressive is when you look at the 12 throws he didn't complete, At least 4 were almost perfect throws that were dropped, and 3 others that should have been caught . The remaining five throws consisted of 2 barely missed deep balls down the sideline and at least 1 throw away. He had one really bad decision where he tried to go back to the far side flat and almost got picked for 6 but the throw was on the money. Can't remember the other one.

Observations after watching the video and being at the game.

1. Love get's rid of the football VERY FAST!! He didn't give AF much time to get to him pressure wise.
2. He has a very fast release and has a good zip on the ball. I think that's why he has such confidence in throwing it into coverage. Only drawback is when Linebackers anticipate the underneath throw. Will have to watch that with BYU coming up. Also great on the Bubble Screen, as he get's the ball to the sideline quickly. Even gives the receiver a chance to get acceleration before the catch.
3. Love is more athletic than he seems in the pocket. I think he really wants to develop into a pocket passer. I think he could be a great runner, but that's not what they want from him. I can appreciate that after Myer's run first philosophy.
4. Dude has such a height advantage!! That really helps him see the field over the linemen.
5. We need to appreciate what we've got in this QB! He has NFL abilities if he continues to develop them, more imho than Keeton, which is saying a lot.

Chuckie was significantly faster and more elusive, but his running style made him prone to injury. Love appears to be a better passer than Chuckie, which is no slight on Chuckie at all. Love has shown pretty decent speed and shake too on the few runs we've allowed him. IIRC, he was only about 5.0 in the 40 on HUDL out of high school. I think Chuckie was better than 4.6 at that distance. Chuckie was fast.
