Re: Aggies in the 2019 draft?
I wouldn’t think that anyone would leave early unless they were a lock for the first or second round, but honestly I don’t know anything lol
Wasn’t there some rule change recently that allowed players who declared for the draft but didn’t get picked to still go back to school...?

Will respond whenever you ask what the band is doing

Pretty sure that is for basketball players only.trombone_ninja wrote: ↑November 15th, 2018, 10:32 amI wouldn’t think that anyone would leave early unless they were a lock for the first or second round, but honestly I don’t know anything lol

I seem to recall the NBA has an accommodation for draft evaluation and then returning to school if said eval wasn't favorable to the athlete who could still be eligible to play college ball. Don't know if the NFL has anything beyond a private assessment of where the athlete could be drafted.

Thanks, I couldn’t remember whether or not it was limited to basketball.
Anyway, Tipa and Dax are bound to play in the NFL, but I imagine they’d want to stay and and wait til next year

Dax might have been an early entry after this year had it not been for his hand injury. The way he was playing before the injury and is now playing again after several weeks was producing the stats and highlights to get drafted, but the multiple week dip has hurt his numbers enough to ensure he will be back one more year to raise his draft stock.

I have NFL scout friends whom believe it or not said Justen Hervey has been on the radar as a late round possibility but has lost appeal after the San Jose State game. Problem they say is not his breakaway speed but football IQ. Cant read the blocks. Not unusual for a speed guy.
