Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
I just got the email message, and assume all other season ticket holders have as well. If you want to keep your season ticket seats then you must reserve them by 5pm this Friday or they will be released. Ticket prices are actually pretty darn cheap for this game, too! $25 for west-side chairbacks. $10 for SEZ and East-side. Season ticket holders are also able to get first dibs on other available seats.

This is an absolute steal for CCG tickets.

I tried to reserve extra tickets and it wouldn’t let me. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
Just don't offer to buy seats for non-season ticket holders or they'll have your a$$.

This makes no sense. Nobody is going to buy 8 tickets just for themselves. My butts not that big, just yet.

I reserved my seats plus a couple extra, this was over the phone.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑November 19th, 2018, 3:35 pmThis makes no sense. Nobody is going to buy 8 tickets just for themselves. My butts not that big, just yet.
Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
Remember when they did this in 2014? I am very superstitious. They started allowing you to reserve seats BEFORE they played Boise State on the blue. Anyone remember how it looked like the Aggies didn’t even get off the bus? NOT IDEAL.

That year we were in the CG either way. This year it's do or die. I think the team will be properly motivated.

That’s good stuff right there. Nothing like having a ticket office pissed when their promotion is actually selling tickets. When the people in charge of marketing get mad that tickets are selling, then you really know you have the wrong people employed in the department.

We weren't in either way that year. What DID happen that year was we FIRST needed Air Force to beat Colorado State on Friday, which did happen so we found out Friday the game was for the Division championship. What's different this time is we have known ALL week in practice that the game is for the Division Championship.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2018, 8:48 amThat year we were in the CG either way. Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
The seats are less than what Weber state charges for their home FCS playoff game. even at those prices I do not expect 20,000 to attend our game, hope I'm wrong.

Are these refundable or just considered donations if we lose to BSU?

Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
That’s not true. They have a special where you can get a football ticket to the playoff game, a basketball ticket for the Weber State vs BYU game that same night, plus a T-shirt all for $25. Good try though.

We probably will sell more than 20k. I have already been told by several people who haven't been to a game all year that they wouldn't miss the championship game if we end up hosting it.oleblu111 wrote:The seats are less than what Weber state charges for their home FCS playoff game. even at those prices I do not expect 20,000 to attend, hope I'm wrong.

I heard today that the club section will probably sell out, which will be about $100K of ticket sales.bigblue wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2018, 2:49 pmWe probably will sell more than 20k. Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
Im talking about ticket prices for the FCS playoff game, not some special they might have, if you just want to go to the football game a chair back seat is $32 , most of the bleacher seats are more than $10. which is what I want to do if USU were to lose. Those Weber combo tickets is a very small number of tickets, so good try for you. the base price at USU is cheaper than Weber.

Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
I’m assuming the conference sets the price of tickets for the championship game.
Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
Don’t wanna say I told ya so but...0-2 on selling tickets to a MW Championship before a game in Boise that is a must win.

Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
Its standard practice. You want the public to be able to buy tickets as soon as the game is for sure and the exciting team they just watched is fresh on their mind. At the same time you want to reserve the opportunity for season ticket holders to secure seats before the general public.Blue4life wrote:Don’t wanna say I told ya so but...0-2 on selling tickets to a MW Championship before a game in Boise that is a must win.

I'm sure BSUs ticket office did the same thing. This isn't sometime to be superstitious about.bigwilly087 wrote:Its standard practice. Re: Championship game seat reservations for season ticket holders
They didn’t, I know many BSU season ticket holders and asked them. Tickets went on sale right after the game last night. They didn’t even sell tickets until the game location was announced the year prior when they knew multiple weeks prior that they were going to the championship game. All I’m saying is it hasn’t worked the past TWO times Utah State has tried it.bigblue wrote: ↑November 25th, 2018, 9:04 amI'm sure BSUs ticket office did the same thing.
