I wonder if this speculation is based on info that is now 2-3 days old and potentially stale.

Will be interesting to see whom he will bring. After throwing his guys under the bus at OSU. Hopefully Maile will stay and maybe others might reconsider.

If this happens I am assuming Gary will bring Even Simon back as Strength Coach.

Wow. Highly doubt footballscoop publishes this this morning based on old rumors. Wonder if the source he talked to today is any more knowledgeable than Thursday’s.

More smoke. Will there be fire?

Don’t like that we are using a guy that is know for changing direction when the decision gets out in front of him. Seems childish. You picked one that you think is best why change cause you didn’t get to be the one to break the news.... or was that last line of the article just a cover in case they are wrong?

Has to be a cover doesn’t it? Nobody would really switch it up because word got out. I’m interested to see what other sources come forward. Right now skeptical of this one source that seems to be just wanting to hopefully be the first to break a story based on assumptions. I’m taking a cautiously optimistic approach right now.

It may mean he changes plans about timing rather than about the candidate but who the hell knows?

If football scoop is reporting this it is a positive sign for those of us that want him back. His lights are on in Logan :stirpot: .he has also been seen here recently

Footballscoop is definitely a good source but they are hedging their bets at the end of the article.

I really think 2 weeks Hartwell gave in his press conference is way too long. I hope it is done quickly so we can work on keeping recruits and giving the players some hope and stability.

This sucks. Here's some mandatory terms

$25M buyout
Mike Sanford as OC
10 year contract with $50,000 payout when fired.
