Woodward Interception vs North Texas

Post by ThunderAggie » January 7th, 2019, 12:42 pm

I was watching this video hoping that a USU play vs North Texas would be in here...and gave up when it entered top 10.....until I saw that Woodwards hit and pick is the #4 play of the bowl season on the video!! Can't wait to see him next year! :utah: :state:

this is depressing. I realized watching it that I didn't see over half of those plays. I knew I was busy this bowl season, but I didn't think I missed as much as I did. :(

I don't know how they ranked those plays, some I would have put higher, but down to #25, they're all super impressive!

It was nice to start the list off with a smile: Northwestern's return of the Utes' fumble for a TD. :)

I'm a little confused by the Stanford/Pitt highlight at 6:30. I didn't think that the offense could advance the football via a fumble . . .

The only time an offense can't advance a football via a fumble is on a two point conversion or fourth down. Otherwise, an offensive player can legally recover the ball and advance it. It is illegal to intentionally fumble forwards. Kevin Curtis once recovered fumble in the endzone in back to back weeks. Also, Troy once had an offensive lineman advance run a fumble for a touchdown against Missouri.
