Perhaps it is justified, but putting all the MWC teams in the 90s just feels lazy. "I don't know anything about these recruits, but they are FBS, so we gotta rank 'em somewhere. Just put them toward the bottom, nobody cares once we get to that point anyway."

Plus, as has been noted before by Aggies22, we're unfairly penalized for our mission sign-and-send kids. They aren't counted in their recruiting class because they won't be playing the next year, then they aren't counted when they come back, because they aren't part of that year's recruiting class. For the last several years, our recruiting has consistently been better than reported.

Bazinga22 is a BSU homer that is obsessed with recruiting “rankings” and preaching about all of BSU’s returning talent. Stay in your lane, you blue turf lover.

Tell me Baz- how many stars did Bobby Wagner have coming out of HS? Dude’s gonna be in the HOF. Vigil brothers had no other D1 opportunities and now they both play in the league. You’re worse than Mel Kiper.

Wish you’d prognosticate something useful. Like when the NCAA will make BSU get turf that’s more enjoyable to look at than the Kevin Ware compound fracture.

Wouldn’t that be the case for BYU and Utah’s recruiting classes too?

Yes, that's true but since they joined the PAC-12 Utah doesn't use the mission program to the extent that they once did. byu will always do what byu does. However, the recruit ranking systems also do not include grad transfers, D-1 transfers and summer signings or what I call "push forwards". These are recruiting practices that we have become more active in under the old staff and it will be interesting to see if it continues.
