Old news. We knew that more than a month ago.

I clicked on this thinking it was a report he was coming here. And that's right, it is old news he is not coming back to BYU.

They are talking over on the boogerboard that ye isn't going back there now.

Is 5 good, or is 1 good?

WELL I HEARD from his cousin's best friends sister-in-laws.... hair dresser, that he is DEFINITELY NOT returning to byu and BECAUSE GA originally recruited him to go to Wisconsin, and that he is now considering transferring to Oregon State!

OH WAIT, I mean UTAH!

OH WAIT, I mean USU! :utah: :state:

I've talked with a couple of byu fans at work and both of them have heard that Ula isn't going back to byu. Also that he's talking with UofU and USU.

The real question is if he does come here, how is that going to effect the rb depth chart? Will this effect Jaylen Warren's decision to come here? Will Morian Walker and Trey Miller move positions?

They both have pretty good height, maybe a transition to WR if they trim down a bit

Not a bad idea. I guess in Gary we trust.

If Tre Miller is not given one, we still have a need for one more scholarship RB. Ula would have to come in as a push forward in the summer.

why does it seem like the "I heard a rumor" is usually someone reposting what they read on Cougarboard?

Where is Ula at, anyway? Anyone know?

Ula would fit well next to bright. Anyone else on the depth chart needs to prove themselves big time.

100% Agreed. I think Ula vs Jaylen would be an awesome training camp battle. Then have both of them take the reigns next year.

Regardless of where he goes, Ula needs to prove himself big time. He has conditioning issues, trouble with ball security and he needs to get his overall $hit together, stay out of trouble and remain eligible.

Been at uvu.

Did not hear it from cougar board. Either way I guess we’ll find out at some point. If he were to come here, we’d have great depth for pretty much each class year. Bright (Sr), Warren (Jr), ula (So), and then hopefully Jackson (Fr).

This. I don't know whether the off the field stuff with the Zoobs is anything to be concerned about or not but I do know that the few times I've watched him he seems to have about a 25% fumble rate...lol. Admittedly the Aggie game was 90% of what I saw but still.

The guy is a beast to tackle though.

Yes he had fumble issues, yes he had a little problem with weed, no he hasn’t played in over a year and a half, but the dude is P5 talent. Worth the risk to me.

Could he possibly convert to another position? One that doesn't require carrying the ball but perhaps knocking it out?

Or maybe a spot with the grounds crew. The upper east side hedges need weeding.

There's a lot of room for growth in the landscape industry. He could be on his way to a budding career.

I hate to stir the pot. But are you insinuating that Ula could help us get some quality grass?
