Merlin Olsen: Here’s the star of the Fearsome Foursome. Olsen started out in small parts like his teammates but quickly advanced to substantial roles, first as a regular on “Little House On The Prairie,” where his TV son once declared, “My pa doesn’t know anything about football” in response to a suggestion that his very large pa might coach their team. He later starred the title roles of “Father Murphy” for two seasons and “Aaron’s Way” for one.
