I hate that we are losing this guy.

Thompson will do great things. I understand him leaving now, knowing that he 23 years old. Another year of RB mileage on his body would have hurt him even more.

When I realized, after reading this article, that he is 23 years old, it was absolutely the right decision for him. I always supported his choice to leave but a year older for a running back can be a huge question mark for teams. Remember that Turbin left early for basically the same reason. I know that he had more D1 carries but your body can only take so many hits. I don't care what kind of freak athlete you are.
