You have to be kidding me. This kid wouldn't even start here. And we just lost a probable starter!

#21 Savon Scarver - WR - USU - #24 in fan vote
This post is likely straight up poor sarcasm and cannot be taken seriously.

Using this logic, Utah's kicker and punter should have been 1& 2 last year

But they were close to top 10 (believe def top 20) and they couldn’t do anything other than kick and punt.UtesAggs>BYU wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2019, 7:05 pmUsing this logic, Utah's kicker and punter should have been 1& 2 last year

Yeah you're right there's no definitive answer for whether Scarver is a better kick returner than Covey....UtesAggs>BYU wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2019, 9:17 pmHahaha, not sure that's a comparison you really wanna make.
You'll be lucky if Covey's combined TDs are even more than Scarver's receiving TDs this year.

I wouldn’t have too much angst over Scarver’s ranking. He was playing with the 2’s at practice today. Sean Carter and Siaosi Mariner were ahead of him.

Really surprised carter was running with the 1s. Who were the 1s with the receivers? That's not why Scarver is a stud. He's on the field for home runs, not singles.Roy McAvoy wrote:I wouldn’t have too much angst over Scarver’s ranking. He was playing with the 2’s at practice today. Sean Carter and Siaosi Mariner we’re ahead of him.

Yes. I posted about it in the fall camp updates thread. I was shocked too. If Sean Carter truly is worthy of starting that’s great news.slcagg wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2019, 9:31 pmReally surprised carter was running with the 1s. Who were the 1s with the receivers? Re: 1280: 60 in 60
Obviously they're just trolling you. No way a 5 foot 8 170 pound WR returning from a major injury that required a second surgery doesn't score a ton of touchdowns. I mean he had 1 receiving TD last season! Maybe he won't be able to match that crazy number but I bet he gets close. I'm just blessed to say I witnessed it.UtesAggs>BYU wrote:I can't...just can't take the baitYoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2019, 9:20 pmYeah you're right there's no definitive answer for whether Scarver is a better kick returner than Covey....UtesAggs>BYU wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2019, 9:17 pmHahaha, not sure that's a comparison you really wanna make.

Just some numbers. Started 6 of 11 games last year. 50 tackles. Meanwhile he is ahead of an first team all American in Savon and returning all conference guy in dj Williams. I wouldn’t put this guy above say someone like Alfred Edwards either.aceofspadeskb wrote: ↑August 5th, 2019, 3:02 pm#20 - Isaiah Kafusi - DB - BYU - #??? in fan vote

Seems like they just keep pumping them out.... They've had to have had Kafusi's on that team for at least a couple decades now.

I believe it was a Kafusi who wagged his finger after blocking a shot in basketball that was called a foul followed by the BYU student section chanting "You got swatted". A comedy of errors.

They are remarkably big dudes. I honestly can't keep straight which kids belong to which dad at this point because there are so many different families AND they have crossed over from UU to BYU or vice versa at times. I know that Bronson, Corbin, and Devin are brothers, but idk how the rest of them tie in.treesap32 wrote: ↑August 6th, 2019, 10:55 amInteresting. They are very big dudes. I served with a kafusi on my mission. He’s going to be a sophomore LB at Stanford this year. Didn’t play much last year. I think he’s a cousin.

That’s right. Played DE at East. They moved him to LB. he was pretty worried about the switch before he got there. Haven’t talked to him since he got there though.
