We all know that Hartwell won’t be here forever, can’t expect everyone to have enough sense to fall in love with Cache Valley and stay forever.

I heard on the grapevine that Hartwell has a job lined up at Florida State. Source level: Heard from a guy who knows a guy who “knows things”

Anybody hear anything more about this?

He said on the podcast with Scotty G that was for a conference or something, but he did say that he stuck around and spent some time there

He’s got a beach house or a timeshare or vacation club or something down there.

My amigos among top people on the inside get the impression that as soon as he gets an opportunity to get back to the south he's gone - his heart isn't here, and they can tell. I'd be astonished if he were still here for more than a few more years, especially with the programs being successful and more facilities on the way.

For us peeps unaware of any new facilities, can you expound on them please?

That's okay. The man has done his job well and laid some really solid ground work for Jerry Bovee or whoever follows him.

He’s done pretty well for a guy who’s heart “isn’t here.” I absolutely don’t blame him for wanting to get back closer to home but I’m grateful for the hard work he puts in while he’s here

I think he's done a helluva good job for us. He is indefatigable.

John currently does not have any job in the waiting, though he is looking for others.

Of course, now they will announce that he the next AD at some SEC U.
