Offensive lines can be reasonably good, and look terrible, depending upon execution and talent in the people behind them. You put Tom Ponich under center behind last year's USU line, and he may be marginally better, but he's still Tom Ponich. Coach Sanford really prefers RBs that are comparable to what Bright can do. He was very durable. Adequate speed. Good blocker and could catch balls out of the back field. I'm not going to stat check but I seem to remember Joey D running for 1,300 yards or so. He wasn’t appreciated by most because he followed Turbin, Smith, and KW, but he was a very good player for us.
