On the aggiesalltheway podcast. Is really good. Interesting comments regarding Oline and also Andy Koch.

For those of us who don’t have time to listen today, what did he say specifically?

One tidbit I took was Sanford said Andy Koch was as good as any OT at this point in his development as any player he saw while at Stanford. 22 has him behind Alfred Edwards in his offense line preview. He was high on the offensive line and the depth developing behind them. Both think a win at Wake Forest is easier than an upset at San Diego State. They think Love will be leaned on throwing the ball early in the season, but are confident in his ability to check to the run when the opposing team is allowing it. They also want use multiple running backs. Listening, it sounds like White would likely say the receiver group has the most untested position on the field. They also talked about last season favorite moments…. this is absolutely me cherry picking. White said his favorite game was the game in Provo and all that it represented. He said with living through 50 years of Aggie fandom it seemed the change in recruiting and talent level has possibly shifted to USU. Looking forward to next season they both look forward if there is something on the line when Boise is playing in Logan, while White is looking at the San Diego State game as an early indicator game. Also, they like the tough schedule and see a lot of good games to look forward to.

I enjoyed the interview from the best broadcast duo in aggie football history.

They are not as worried about the O line as many fans are, they do have some concern with the receiver group, mostly lack of experience is the concern. I agree with that part.

They are very high on the D. A little higher than what I can see. We are good and will be solid IMHO.

Field goals could be a huge factor with the tough schedule, and we are solid in that area, my comment not theirs.

Overall a good break down, and a fun listen.

Mike Sanford was interviewed today with Hans and Scotty and he said it might take a few games but he expects this oline to be a position of strength for the offense. Said the previous staff really recruited well in the two classes before they arrived.

I tried to find the interview with Sanford, do you have the link to it?
