Great write up Aggies22! I feel that Linebacker will be the strength of our Defense. We are pretty loaded with this group!

As long as the starters in the secondary hold up, this defense is ridiculously talented!

Do you think Simon Thompson starts out at safety?

With the ridiculous amount of linebackers we have, I am projecting that is where Simon will start out. He's a really good athlete and at 6'3" 180 he's a very good size for a free safety. I'll give you props for noticing that he wasn't listed with the linebackers. Good eye Busta!

Is Baron Gajkowsky done as a player? I’ve seen him play LB and Safety. Any chance he comes back in a hybrid role? I’d like my sources to be as good as yours since I cover the Ags with Logan on MW wire!

We take a dive on offensive production this year to be sure. The good news is, I think our defense can keep us in + win us a lot of games. Great write-up, 22.

Great point. People seem to focus on the losses on offense but seem to forget the defense was good last year and return almost everyone plus have guys coming in and redshirts like magalei and Justus tei.

If there's one strength that Gary Andersen has had throughout his tenure as a coach, it has to be building physical + dominant defenses. I'm bullish on the defense for this reason. We don't need to hang 60 on everybody this year to win.

But hanging 60 on 'em sure is fun!

We wouldn’t hang 60 on many this year even if we had the entire offense back. The schedule is that much more difficult. That said, I think the offense will hold their own quite well thank you.

Jack Drew seems like a great pickup for a pwo. Both he and the kid from Idaho falls (sorry can’t remember his name off the top of my head) had some great opportunities and stats.

Oakley Hussey. I talked to that kid a month or so ago and let me tell you this, he is a VERY confident dude!
