Blackout for the YBU game

Well dang. At least the players and students will be into this.

2019 promos are:
Stripe The Stadium vs Stony Brook
Homecoming vs CSU
Tackle Cancer vs Nevada
Beat BYU Wear Black vs YBU
Salute to Service vs Wyoming
Senior Day vs Donks

Whatever the players want that is what is most important. For myself I would be happy if they wore blue jerseys at home every game and mix up the pants.

I’ll be okay with this IF AND ONLY IF there is absolutely no blue trim anywhere on the uniform. It must be black and pewter (and/or white, maybe), no exceptions.

Blue just doesn’t go with black. This is why Utah’s blackout unis look amazing and BYU’s look like garbage

I couldn't disagree more. I love the way that Black and Blue look together. Our Black basketball uni's with the blue letters and white outlines looked great and I even liked the way that BYU's black helmets looked.

I do understand the premise here, but a lot depends on how it's pulled off. I loved our blue and black helmets with the diamond design. I'm really sad we don't have those anymore.

I'm a grumpy old man when it comes to these stupid merchandise-selling schemes. I'll go to the game, but I'll be wearing blue. My son will probably wear black, black and white that is.

I think I'll just stick with NAVY BLUE. NAVY BLUE and Black are very similar in appearance, especially at a distance and without sunlight.

Before we try different color schemes maybe we should see if we can get all aggie fans to wear the same Navy color blue shirts, we are pretty weak in that area.

I watched a Nebraska game, and that place in all red is just awesome. If we could get everyone at the USU home games to wear the same shade of Blue, and sell the damn stadium out that would be great.

About all the teams do white outs / blackouts etc. Utes def didn’t make this up.

Not a huge fan but I’ll wear black. I really like my blackout shirt. - nov might be trench coat weather though.

Agreed, I think the blackout Jerseys look awesome with the blue numbers.

From what I’ve heard it will be blue numbers with white trim. Official reveal should be coming soon. Don’t know about helmets yet but rumor is matte black with chrome facemask. Oversized chrome bull on one side and chrome numbers on the other.

Not impressed with STYLE points here folks. Yes, established and traditional old school colors work just fine for me, the NAVY BLUE AGGIE. What price for these "NEW" uniforms? Does this generate a sold out stadium or a MWC championship?

I would LOVE it if we could somehow incorporate that song (and some of the sentiments manifest in the video) into our blackout game with the Zoobies...Thin Blue Line, anyone?!?

I dig this FFDP I had not heard it, and was a fan of KWS Band's version back in the 90's.
