Love it, nearly all these plays are plays that coaches and teammates notice. Sure, showing speed on the TD is nice and hurdling a guy is fun but the other two plays stand out. By the way, the hurdle play was called back but the best part of that play is it looks like it was designed to go to his left and then he cuts back at the line of scrimmage to free him up the middle. Blocking the DE to give your QB a clear lane is awesome, especially with some worrying about his size, coaches will enjoy that. And the 9 yard run where he runs through a tackle and lowers his shoulder into another guy will get him mad respect in the locker room.

HE ALMOST SCORED

AND THEN HE SCORED ON THE NEXT PLAY

HE IS POCKET HERCULES REBORN AND WE WILL NOT TOLERATE SLANDER"

Living in KC, there is already a buzz about Darwin. I had several people at work today say they think at some point he will start this year. Not saying that will happen but there is a lot of optimism about him.

“Darwin Thompson with the hurdle over Manti Te’o’s girlfriend” was the funniest comment I read on Twitter this weekend.
