Re: Sandy Ego State vs NMSU
I hate saying this because it feels like a jinx, but SDSU looks pretty “meh” at best. If we are good at all, we will beat them, and beat them badly (i.e. by 14+ points).
I’m still not sure if we’re good though.

Re: Sandy Ego State vs NMSU
I realize they have not played any good offenses, but their defense scares me a lot. I think defensively we can hold them to 25 or less, but I have reservations if we can score on their defense. SDSU reminds me a lot of WYO as they seem to play down to their competition, but when they play a good opponent they play up.

They’ve not played any good teams and have still managed to look really “meh.” They’re not great. If we don’t beat them I really worry about bowl eligibility.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑September 14th, 2019, 9:19 pmI realize they have not played any good offenses, but their defense scares me a lot. We for sure need to win this game, I hope we can get the monkey off our back against SDSU. The basketball team go it off their back now it is the time to have the football do the same. If we win this game, I think we can go on a little roll outside of LSU.

We're good. If can get to 27/28 points we'll win.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑September 14th, 2019, 9:04 pmI hate saying this because it feels like a jinx, but SDSU looks pretty “meh” at best. If we are good at all, we will beat them, and beat them badly (i.e. by 14+ points).

Re: Sandy Ego State vs NMSU
Why is there this constant desire to downplay our opponents and conference mates on here? SDSU is 3-0 and has a road win over a p5 team. They beat ASU last year. SDSU has a legit defense.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑September 14th, 2019, 9:23 pmThey’ve not played any good teams and have still managed to look really “meh.” They’re not great. All it does it makes us look a lot worse if we lose and downplays our win if we win.

They will be tough. If Love can throw no interceptions and we limit the number of three and outs i thnk we will win.

Run, run, and then run the ball some more down SDSU’s throat. Their D line is less good than it was a few years ago. We have to get yards on the ground this game or else I’m not sure Love can handle the pressure.

And while we're at it I'd like to see Sanford get the ball to DT on some jet sweeps then play action off that.sambonethegreat wrote: ↑September 15th, 2019, 12:53 pmRun, run, and then run the ball some more down SDSU’s throat. You’ll note in the prediction thread I’ve predicted a double-digit win for the Aggies in this one.YoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑September 15th, 2019, 9:04 amYour pessimism has been noted, often.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑September 14th, 2019, 9:04 pmI hate saying this because it feels like a jinx, but SDSU looks pretty “meh” at best. Well done my Aggie brother. I'm on board with that.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑September 15th, 2019, 2:16 pmYou’ll note in the prediction thread I’ve predicted a double-digit win for the Aggies in this one.YoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑September 15th, 2019, 9:04 amYour pessimism has been noted, often.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑September 14th, 2019, 9:04 pmI hate saying this because it feels like a jinx, but SDSU looks pretty “meh” at best. Darwin entered the draft and plays for Kansas City, now. I don't think he'll be at Sanford's disposal.Machismo wrote: ↑September 15th, 2019, 1:12 pmAnd while we're at it I'd like to see Sanford get the ball to DT on some jet sweeps then play action off that.sambonethegreat wrote: ↑September 15th, 2019, 12:53 pmRun, run, and then run the ball some more down SDSU’s throat.
