Interesting stats vs SDSU
In our two games vs SDSU's three games, we have more yards and better stats in virtually every category except sacs. That's kind of nuts. And we've both played an FCS school. Also, I notice they haven't played their backup QB at all yet. Very interesting:

Amazing how close the stats are since we’ve played one less game.

If you cover up the team names and look at the offensive stats objectively, we should crush them.

Re: Interesting stats vs SDSU
The one that's the most interesting is rushing yard attempts, they have 137 to our 73, and we have more rushing yards in just two games. On paper their offense looks mediocre at best.AGGIEinIOWA wrote: ↑September 18th, 2019, 5:52 pmIf you cover up the team names and look at the offensive stats objectively, we should crush them.
The one scary stat is their sacs - 3 for -24 yards compared to our 2 for -7 yards. They think they are going to pressure Love, but love has a cannon and can fire off quickly. Our speed on offense will be the key to the this game.

Re: Interesting stats vs SDSU
I wouldn’t have expected the stats to look like this, but I hope nobody (at least not the players) gets lulled into thinking it’ll be that easy. Things rarely go as they look like they will on paper, but it could still happen this week! I think we’re all expecting them to put up a good fight, at least on defense if nothing else. Can’t wait to beat them on Saturday!
Will respond whenever you ask what the band is doing

SDSU always plays up or down to their competition. They have been doing it for years. They will be ready for us.

No doubt! We've seen this from them before and it's well noted that they seem to always start off the season slow. They even almost got beat by SJSU last year after starting off the season 6-1.
