The dunces at the Herald Journal....

Post by Smokin Joe » September 23rd, 2019, 11:29 pm

HJ headline reads "Aggies Perserved for MW Victory". I guess that's Cache Valley speak for "persevered". Sheesh. Hopefully the editor is not a Utah State grad.

I just noticed the same thing. It's a bit embarrassing.

Not for long. Going to 3 days a week in October. Can't see it lasting too long after that.

A pity, as the Herald Journal was once a strong local publication that actually worked at being the real deal. On line assets have been brutal to the newspaper business and I don't see a likely response from printed publications coming any time soon.

Crazy to think that they've about been reduced to Cache Citizen status.

Jason Turner actually has done some pretty good work for Aggie fans this year. I’ve appreciated his articles and he stays on top of the Ags far better than the DesNews or SLTrib.

Why are you perseverating over this?

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I know Jason and he's ramped up his coverage from years passed. I've enjoyed hanging out at fall camp with him.

The dunces at the Herald Journal....

If the urinal goes to 3 days the end is in sight. I always felt the Standard Examiner in Ogden should bump up its coverage and go regional.

I have too many spelling issues to point the finger. Too bad for the HJ but it is a sign of the times.

The sad part is that the editor writes the headline. Reporters often get frustrated at the headlines.
