Rain Ponchos Near the Stadium

Post by aggietime » September 27th, 2019, 12:55 pm

Anyone know if the University or any vendors will have rain ponchos for sale near Maverik? Have some people coming in from out of town and I'm guessing they'll want some with the rain forecast.

Macy's in Providence has Aggie ponchos for $4. I think I saw them for sale at locker 42 as well.

I ordered a couple reusable navy blue ponchos on Amazon yesterday and they are being delivered today. Maybe use a friend's address in Logan? Or I am pretty positive either Walmart in the valley or Al's will have some cheapish ones.

South Walmart has a large variety of ponchos. All sorts of price ranges.

Lee's Marketplace on 14th north had about 8 of them left this morning. $5

North Walmart was sold out. WARNING: at North walmart there is a navy blue packaged poncho smack dab in the middle of all their Aggie gear. Further examination will show it's the only BYU piece of garbage they sell. :puke:

I picked these up at Walmart for 12 bucks. There wasn't many left when I bought them... They look grey but they're more blue in real life. Image

That rain suit looks awesome. Should keep you really dry.

Thanks all. I called Locker 42 and they said they'll have some for sale at the game but only a few hundred. Probably safest to go with the ones at Macy's or that awesome rainsuit.

Sometimes the wrong team's school will make it to Wal-Mart. Arkansas State, Baylor, Yale and Great Lakes State gear has made it to the Logan Wal-Marts. It just takes the wrong pallet getting loaded into the wrong truck at the distribution center.

The U state ponchos are now gone from Macys, they do have orange ones but I told them, "that those are CSU's colors and we can't wear those".😁

Nice job on the picture of the rain ponchos. Appears Macy's has discovered a rather desirable AGGIE apparel line. Should be popular for more than just this game and just one time. On a side note, we are overcast here in Sandy so I'll hope for the best and prepare for wet weather.

Currently pouring at the stadium. Also a bit windy which is making it pretty dang cold.

If anyone is reading this outside Cache Valley. You want to prepare your weather gear before getting into the valley. They are in short supply.

Ticket sales were really good for this game but obviously the amount that show up isn't going to reflect that but the nice thing is is there's been rain in the forecast for the whole week so hopefully people have been getting prepared. It's not like one of those games where it's kind of partly cloudy and then you have a thunder shower and no one's prepared there literally should be no one going to the game that is not prepared.

Happy with the 20k and 86% student section. I was expecting about 12k with the amount if activity pre game.

Gary and the players loved the crowd. Gary was very appreciative and said it got the players excited. Well done crowd.
