Halftime adjustments?
In the first half CSU has drives of 80 yards (TD), 42 yards (missed FG), and 25 yards (punt). They had two other TDs - an 18-yard field and a pick six.
In the second half, they got a field goal on a 3 yard drive with a very short filed and essentially nothing after that.
Their longest second half possession was 5 plays. Their longest "drive" in the second half was the 35-yard pass play resulting in a turnover fumble.
Beyond that their drives were 3 plays for 6 yards, 3 for 3, 4 for 10, 4 for 19, 3 for 1 and Woodward's TD on the first play.
The only time in the second half that they sniffed points was an int at the 30 yard which they gained 3 yards from.
The second half defense was amazing!!!!!

Re: Halftime adjustments?
I hadn't done the math on the second half SectionB and your post was insightful..thank you. Seems our defense played very well in the second half although real time adjustments when teams come off the field aren't unusual.

Re: Halftime adjustments?
Ena made some great adjustments at half. I have felt pretty good about our defense over the last two games (minus some weird stuff against SDSU at the end).

Re: Halftime adjustments?
Agreed. And those two plays against SDSU were not bad DC calls, they were poor execution in the secondary.

Re: Halftime adjustments?
Ena and Co have made great adjustments each game, and the players for the most part have executed very well. We also had 3 Turnovers in the second half to go along with the things you pointed out.SectionBAggie wrote: ↑September 29th, 2019, 10:37 pmIn the first half CSU has drives of 80 yards (TD), 42 yards (missed FG), and 25 yards (punt).
