The good thing is that the rest of our games of the season will be injury free. Our team only gets injured when we play games against SEC teams. Remember, we were injury free going into this game.

Mariner is walking around with a sling on his arm. Most likely a separated shoulder or broken collarbone.

They're also a lot bigger part when you play a team that is bigger, faster, & stronger.

I guess we are bigger, faster, and stronger because LSU has had quite a few injuries today too.

LSU has had just as many guys go down injured. This is what happens when full grown men run at full speed at each other.

Actually no, they haven't. And virtually any player I've seen on their end get hurt I've seen come back in the game.

It's not going to be a 100% apples to apples comparison. Different injuries happen. People need to relax.

1. Don’t schedule top 10 programs. Choose from the other ~55 P5 schools out there.
2. Don’t schedule a money game later than week 1 or 2.
3. Don’t schedule to play at Wake and LSU in the same season.

There's a reason this happened against LSU.

Exactly. This game is stupid. We should never play a top 10 program. The Alabama game is gonna be even worse. It makes zero sense. Play Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, ETC. :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall: :bangwall:

Don’t like it? Then say something intelligent. College schedules fluctuate. You don’t always get all your non-conference matchups in the first few weeks. You know our program still needs an annual money game.

If you don’t like it— file a complaint with the athletic department instead of crying on the board that an AD that did his job and got us this $ should be fired. Get real.

I'd rather lose to LSU, than have a season full of stony brooks and san jose state. I just wished we were a better team that could compete in challenge games. We need get better. I'm not happy with ducking hard teams because they are scary- otherwise I would be a Ute fan

Don’t schedule a Top 10 team?? These games are scheduled YEARS in advance. You don’t know what the state of either program will be in when the game is actually played. I bet you weren’t pissing and moaning when we went to Auburn and were one failed special teams play away from beating the defending national champions.

Can’t speak for the timing of this game, but when tiny USU gets a 1.5 million dollar offer to pay ball, you take it.

This is the type of thing I didn’t want to see. That’s BS. This LSU team may not win the national championship, but they’re as good as any national championship team CFB has had.

Usu put up a good fight. No shame in how they played. The vanilla offense play calling however...

good point, might help to get some momentum and confidence with some much more winnable p5 teams on the schedule. But i definitely love the chance to play the top guys- although it should probably be the first game of the season and then play someone like wake now instead of the other way around.
