1971: USU lost to #1 Nebraska in Lincoln. Went 8-3.

Yes, but...

I was expecting a typical GA approach where we would be creative and go after the win, not just trying to stay close. We don't have the horses in the secondary to play man like GA wants but dropping 9 and rushing 2 on 3rd down in the middle of the 99 yard drive was swing and a miss.

At least it wasn't like USC in 1989 where Junior Seau almost killed Kevin White, our starting QB.

Kevin is a great guy by the way.

The same Kevin White that does color with Scotty G. But to the original post I'll take that as a sign we are going to win 8 games and go to the Tater Bowl :rock:
