Solid First Half
Really solid first half for the Aggies. Offense started slow but came on in the end of the first and second quarters and looked really solid, defense was super solid other than that one drive. Nice job Aggies.

Re: Solid First Half
Utah State sucks! No effort. They look terrible. The offense is inept and will not score any more touchdowns here or during the bowl game in which this team doesn't deserve to play, and the defense has more holes than Gossner swiss cheese. (Jinx undone).

Re: Solid First Half
The same thing that has happened throughout this season. The other side sees what we are doing and then adjusts to take advantage of that. This is something that has happened to us this year......we have been routinely out adjusted at halftime, and that is on our coaches. Shouldn't be a mystery to anyone at the end of this season..ineptimusprime wrote: ↑November 30th, 2019, 4:20 pmGreat first half.... what the hell happened at halftime though?

Re: Solid First Half
Gary was smart to use that timeout when UNM decided to keep driving, the announcers thought it was rude, but it helped us have opportunities to score before the end of the half, which ended up saving our bacon.

Re: Solid First Half
Gary pretending to go for it in 4th down at the end of the first so that Eberle could kick down wind was also very good.

Re: Solid First Half
Yeah it was an awesome call to call the timeout because they were just going to run out the clock. The announcer was weird that he was thinking it was rude to be taking a timeout in that situation it was just maximizing how many points you got in the half.

Re: Solid First Half
I think all things considered and the emotion that New Mexico had coming out of the locker room, it was a solid win! Another one where we gritted it out a bit. Nice job to special teams, Offense and defense.

Re: Solid First Half
Really liked the timeout at the end of the first half, I was yelling for him to do it. Why? Over a minute left, and a strong wind in our favor. UNM punting into the wind isn't going to get a lot on it, giving us field position at our 40 or better with 40 seconds left. We only need ~10 yards to try an Eberle field goal with a strong wind at his back, why not? Of course, calling the timeout and getting the turnover was a much better results. Lots of upside and little downside to the timeout.

Thank you for the game site information Provo Aggie. Took a while to down load but it played very well on my desk top. New Mexico has had a brutal number of injuries this season for what every reason.
