He wants to see if he can play in the pros. Don't want to add more risk at a low salary.

Re: Is Woodward Coming Back?
Just show NFL teams our run defense stats before and after his injury and he should go first round

Re: Is Woodward Coming Back?
Rumor mill has said he had another concussion and wouldn't be playing football anymore. I've also heard torn meniscus but concussion seems to be the consensus.

If he can get himself medically cleared, I hope he takes a crack at the NFL. There is no reason to waste whatever hits you have left in college and not earning a paycheck.
Re: Is Woodward Coming Back?
Same here. Only case where it wouldn't make sense is if he's had enough concussions that long-term mental health is a concern. He was a lot of fun to watch and we really missed him when he couldn't play.

Meniscus is a minor event to resolve these days with the scoping procedure. My question would be what NFL team rolls the dice on this fantastic young man with his concussion history. He was so fun just to watch him move around with his very, very high football I Q. What a treat to see him play.

Re: Is Woodward Coming Back?
What happened with Woodward this year is why I had no problem with Darwin Thompson going to the NFL after last year. When you can stick with an NFL team, go do it. You can finish school later.

Or not finish school at all. Give me a few million when I'm 22 and I'm not going back to schoolbrownjeans wrote: ↑December 2nd, 2019, 5:46 pmWhat happened with Woodward this year is why I had no problem with Darwin Thompson going to the NFL after last year. Give me a few million "AND" a great money manager. A lot of these kids go pro and have no money after they are done playing, or don't really get playing time.FloridaAggie13 wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2019, 11:36 amOr not finish school at all. Re: Is Woodward Coming Back?
Repost from another threads few weeks ago:
I know it’s now common knowledge he’s out for the season. But just wanted to add, per very reliable, that Woody is indeed out for the season and he is fully intent on treating this as a season-ending injury, and not a career ending injury as he will be declaring for the draft at the end of the season and try his luck in the league.
I hope it works out and his long-term health isn’t placed in jeopardy.
