Cole Hagen is the Corner Canyon kid. His best offer is Weber State. The little bit i've watched him i'm not to impressed.
I think Cole Hagan is more of a product of the system at Corner Canyon. A few years ago we took Jordan QB Crew Wakley who put up crazy numbers but he will be playing safety for us. Perhaps Cole has made it clear that he would like to play QB and that will limit his options.
Cole would be a sign and send as well right?
I think he's the kind of kid we should be taking a shot at, especially if Yaro has cold feet.

Cole Hagen has a preferred walk-on offer from us.

I just confirmed we likely won't see the returning missionaries announced until February.

So overall thoughts on this class so far? I have to say I am pretty ho-hum about it to this point. Maybe I was expecting more from GA and his staff but it seems we lost a lot of recruiting battles for guys we really needed.

I'll wait until February for final thoughts and say that I hope it gets better than this because we are in dire need of some play makers on both sides of the ball.

Is it possible that much of this staff recruits like it coached last season? Seems to me the apples don't fall too far from the tree. I appreciate we generally have to wait for a couple of seasons to really see how recruiting Freshmen has worked out, but not too many seasons please. Gary has enjoyed a storied history of spotting diamonds in the rough,,,,and I hope he continues to surprise.

Any word on Trae Stropshire? With our offer to Justin Mcgriff it seems he is off the table. I'm not sure I wouldn't rather have Justin Mcgriff anyways though.
He's gone dark. In my experience, this typically means they are likely holding out for a bigger offer once the first signing period is over.
If Stroshire is holding out I wonder what he is looking for. It has been noted that we are his sole D1 offer, so what could that mean to Utah State. If Trae truly is looking around for other offers and they haven't appeared, I wouldn't expect him to be what we are really in need of.
