Gary had no connections to Dave Aranda before hiring him. Or to Dave Baldwin.

I'd like a shout run game
They sometimes call penalties on the defense for simulating the snap count, but would the refs call a penalty on the offense for shouting? The QB could get away with it, but I think they might call a penalty if the running back was doing it at the same time (pre-snap) as the QB. I guess if you are referring to after the ball is snapped, there is probably enough grunting going on that every player would be fair game at that point, I just don’t see it as a high priority. I would rather see our focus be on gaining yardage.
I disagree. I would love it if the offense started shouting at the other team during running plays.
Could we get a RB who makes Bruce Lee noises as he runs? That would be a dream come true.
I envision a scene from "Enter the Dragon" and the scene in "The Other Guys" where Will Ferrell chases the guy around the office screaming and yelling at him.
are the subtitles going to be out of sync with the words spoken!! I always liked that

It's a list that consists primarily of former Aggie offensive coordinators.

Any word on potential front runners? How long should we expect this search to take? 4 to 6 weeks?

Our last three offensive coordinators have been oc's that that lost there job because of a coaching change but have been owed one or two years salary by their previous schools. It has has allowed us to bring in coaches that we otherwise could not afford. I will not be suprised if our next coach will come from a coach in a similar situation.
Just my guess

Darrell Dickey is now successful at Texas A&M, and was with Memphis when they were successful for a few years including the year of the BYU fight. Another coach we thought was bad cause he was part of our team being bad, offensive line coach Vance Vice, was also part of successful Memphis teams and is now at Virginia Tech. That just shows that an assistant coach isn't the problem as much as you might think.

Why has nobody brought up the idea of bringing back Luke Wells as our solo OC? Was he not one of our highest paid assistant coaches in school history? Surely he would be great. I bet Tania would even write him a glowing Letter of Recommendation!

Just pretend you have a drinking problem and check into rehab for a week like celebrities do. Then all is forgiven.

Can you imagine? How many delay of game penalties would we average per game with putz telling the QBs long, winding stories in their ear rather than sending down a play?

You'd also have Cal-Davis where Dan Hawkins is the HC. But.......just because he didn't say Utah State Aggies doesn't mean that is not who he meant.

Unless Darrell Dickey has basically been told to get another job, I don't see how he'd be a candidate. He's making $800k/year right now at A&M.
