Kinda Aggie Related: Calhoun to CU?
Kinda Aggie Related: Calhoun to CU?
Troy Calhoun is one of two finalists for the Colorado job and I'm kinda conflicted on this. One side he's a decent coach and I think AF will be respectful and which will be good for the conference, but on the other hand he's a whiny douche so...yea

I think the "whiney douche" aspect of his personality overshadows most other things about him. I'd rather see less of him in any capacity.

For me it would be a great day to see him go. For one he is a whiny douchebag. Second leaving at this point in the year would be a big blow for AF which would probably make our game against them easier this year. To have him as your finalist is interesting to me, he has done good at AF, but be interesting if can be successful at CU.

Re: Kinda Aggie Related: Calhoun to CU?
I get the desire to see another program down to increase our chances of beating them, and I harbor those feelings to some degree, but at the same time I recognize that it is good for the conference for the teams in the conference to be good (yay, circular logic!). What I would really rather is that Air Force is strong (and kicks butt OOC), but that we are stronger.
With respect to Calhoun, who's to say they don't hire another whiny douche?

I don't think that is showing Calhoun the respect he deserves. To suggest that AF might be able to hire someone as whiny and as big of a douche as him? That is just disrespectful. He is in a class of his own.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 2:24 pmWith respect to Calhoun, who's to say they don't hire another whiny douche?

I don't think Eric Musselman coaches football.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 2:24 pmI get the desire to see another program down to increase our chances of beating them, and I harbor those feelings to some degree, but at the same time I recognize that it is good for the conference for the teams in the conference to be good (yay, circular logic!). I hope every response to this thread contains the words "whiny" and "douche" or "douchebag".ususports wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 2:43 pmI don't think that is showing Calhoun the respect he deserves. Calgoon can take his whiny, douche self to CU. I won't mourn his loss. He always wanted to be in the P5

I would take Calhoun over Bielma. The fact that it would throw AFA into chaos is a bonus for USU.

Air Force has a strong willed, intelligent and focused student officer enrollment. I suspect the same old system will be in place as the years go on along with the same tough minded athletes on the field.

I want Troy Calhoun out of the MWC and I hope he is dumb enough to leave the perfect situation (for him)

It's bad news when one of your more successful players turned Coach (Chiefs OC Eric Bienemy) turns you down.
