What is the Team doing for Practice?

Post by JSHarvey » March 18th, 2020, 9:14 pm

I assume with all the bans on groups no formal practices are going on. Are the players doing individual work?

How is the team preparing for the next season?

Just curious if anyone knows anything about this.

They are not required to be back on campus til June 5 - they cannot practice, but have playbooks to learn

Not much. This whole thing really hurts 'developmental programs' like ours.

Steven Godfrey is reporting that even the most conservative of coaches are concerned about the season. I am very concerned.

It sucked losing the NCAA tournament and I really don't follow the NBA or baseball so outside of the tournament I am fine for the summer. If football is taken away well I need to find some other hobbies as that one will be tough to swallow.

At this point, I would be very surprised if the season starts on time or is uninterrupted.

It sounds like this will peak and then recede but once social distancing measures are relaxed, unless an effective anti-viral is found, it will peak again in the fall and we have to do this all over again.

Hope I am wrong.

It's pick your poison. Social distancing takes away other hobbies too.
