You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Nothing says coaching genius like bringing in a grad transfer to compete with your 4-star sophomore who won the job as a true freshman. Way to divide the locker room. If Sears happens to win the starting gig, Bachmeier is gone. If Bachmeier wins the job Sears is gone. Once a kid graduates he's a free agent until he runs out of eligibility.

I have heard of competition smart a$$. I've heard of injuries too. QB's are a different breed of ego and a different depth chart. Two 4-star dudes especially one that is a grad transfer and in desperate search of playing time will not hang around for long and carry a clipboard. Mark my words one of them will NOT last a calendar year in Boise. If both players remain on the roster beyond next May 19th, you can come back and remind me.

I heard Sears is transferring from USC holding a clipboard to Boise to hold a clipboard because of their top ranking graduate programs at Boise.

Thanks for the info. I welcome Boise State absolutely crushing it. It's great for the Mountain West and only provides more opportunity for USU. One day we'll get a coveted important win over Boise and it will only help it be that much sweeter.

Bringing in Sears is an interesting move though. For him to come I think he has to have been given reason to believe he will absolutely win the starting job. I think in the end it could also hurt Boise's depth because now you're going to see transfers out at QB that you wouldn't previously have.

Experienced journeyman player addition or an indictment of a highly regarded returning starter.....(or is more going on behind door number 3?).

I never realized that the CDL graduate program at BSU was two years. Usually a QB should be smart enough to get that done in one semester tops.

I know journeyman is a title thrown around in some of the trades, but is it the same for trucking?

Not sure if there is one for journeymen in trucking, but journeywomen are more commonly known as lot lizards.

I suspect that Boise with have a few more transfer in transfer out players than most.
Let's just say it is a program culture kind of thing and leave it there. At least from what I hear.

Possibly with recruit high expectations not being met with starting or serious playing time, the seeds of discontent are easily planted.

Maybe this is a issue for a few. The problems I am referring to have little to nothing to do with the kids and is more..... cultural structure type of issue.

Congrats Bazinga. You are maybe the only poster that I have seen to be called by one of our most revered and prolific AGGIES, “smart a$$” instead of “my Aggie brother”. Being new on the board, you will eventually see that Aggies22 is a favorite because of his knowledge and understanding of football and basketball. He is indispensable.

Kind of feels like you are trying to say something without saying anything. Please describe this “cultural structure” you are referring to.😊
