Green Bay pays for Love
Good for Jordan. Signed a guaranteed $12M deal (including $6M in signing bonus) for a 4-year contract today. They must really like him. As a Bears fan, I don't want him to have too much success, but I hope he has a long, healthy career in the NFL.

First to be fully guaranteed. Other picks that late have received partial guarantees.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑July 1st, 2020, 5:48 pmHe is the first ever player drafted 26 or later to be given guaranteed money

Re: Green Bay pays for Love
You know, if the university/athletic department was smart, they would discuss a legacy gift to the football program right now. doesn't have to be large to start. His advisors are going to be looking for opportunities to shelter income and get him some tax advantages-- what better way then doing something as a legacy to the school that gave you the opportunity when no one else would! If he put up, say a million over 5 years (200K per year) he could endow a coaching position. Wouldn't that be an awesome thing? Just one example of the things he could do with his new found wealth!

I wouldn't mind one bit if he takes care of his mom first. Nobody was implying he wouldn't either.
Happy he has found success in this way and I hope he can enjoy it wisely.
