Future schedules

Post by oleblu111 » September 3rd, 2020, 5:40 pm

I noticed that we have two games future scheduled with BYU , after that they are not on the schedule. We do have some interesting games going forward . Miss. state Iowa, Oregon are good P-5 games

BYU games are picked up relatively easy. But after seeing the powerhouse schedule they play this year, they could choose to leave us off in the future in favor of some of those powers.

I agree there are some great games scheduled in the future. I’m looking forward to Iowa and Alabama.

By George I bet why fans will demand a national championship if they run the table this year. :)

I see we are talking (I can't express myself without swearing) on a team that actually gets to play games this year.

Hey there's no need to mock. At least they're playing. That's more than anybody else in the state or out west can say. Yeah they are not exactly power opponents they're facing, but with covid-19 practically decimating college football schedules, I'm giving them a break on this one. Besides the only powers we're facing for the fall season is the power of our salsa as we're eating chips watching them play.

Don't get too excited. I doubt those games happen.

We've now created a bubble boy culture where we can't accept any risk or any amount of people getting hurt in some capacity. We have just to curl up in a ball and avoid and hide from everything so nobody gets hurt.

Maybe we’ll offer them a 3-2 deal, or a 2-1 deal? They need us more than we need them, they can enjoy their new kinship with the Sun Belt and Conf-USA.

If you watched ARMY this weekend; their defense is LEGIT....and their offense is always ugly to prep for....I am sure the CADETS will handle BYU easily in NY....in a coup weeks!

One thing for sure, it will be interesting to look back a few years from now to see how history judges playing, or not playing football in 2020.

If COVID spirals out of control in a few months, teams playing will be criticized for contributing to the problem.

If it diminishes, those who didn’t play will be criticized for overstating the risks.
