Time to let the young guys play
Time to let the young guys play
The season is what it is. Time to let the young guys play.
Lefeged can't tackle with his arms and is the direct cause of 3 scores because of that so it's time to see what we have behind him.
Jackson is a liability and low effort, time for him to see the bench more.
Inside LB are to slow, don't fill right, and can't shed blocks. Time for others.
Peasley needs to start and be given 2 full quarters and if he can't move the ball time to let Cooper go at it.
Mcgriff better learn to catch or he will just be a blocking wr

Agree.
Green played well Safety at times.
We need more speed across our entire LB corps. Other than AJV we got nothing.
Sorry Peasley is not the answer. He’s worse than Shelley. Let Calvin or Cooper L play.

65% of the team is frshman and sophomore. We have like the 13th youngest team. If the upper classman arent getting it done start playing and developing the younger players for next year and beyond.

Re: Time to let the young guys play
The morale on this team can't be good and not just because they are 0-3. A QB of dubious quality is brought in on top of one who has waited patiently for the first-round All American QB to leave and he was backed up by two three-star redshirt-frosh QB's. It's not like then QB position was bare. It's not unusual for coaches to recruit over existing players in this modern era of cut-throat football, but usually it's done when there is a demonstrated need to boost a position or the new guy is so good that he just can't be ignored.
Now we have the situation where the new guy has failed but continues to play. You can say that he hasn't been well supported by OL and receivers but he himself has problems that were apparent even at Utah. How do the 2nd, 3rd and 4th QB's feel? And how do others on the team feel? Good QB play boosts everyone's effort and productivity but poor QB play has the opposite affect.
Cooper Legas should start against FSU.

I'm not sure if he opted out or what but I believe that Keegan Duncan is not on the team currently.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑November 6th, 2020, 9:45 pmWhere is Simon Thompson i had high hopes for him? Hopefully Duncan can be good next year.

THat is too bad for Duncan I really had high hopes for him. I hope THompson is back, he seemed like he has the potential to be an impact LB.aggies22 wrote: ↑November 7th, 2020, 4:48 pmI'm not sure if he opted out or what but I believe that Keegan Duncan is not on the team currently.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑November 6th, 2020, 9:45 pmWhere is Simon Thompson i had high hopes for him?
