Re: Jordan love update
Hating Jordan is stupid. Was he supposed to tell GB that he can't play for them because drafting a QB in the first round with Rogers there is a bad idea?

Re: Jordan love update
I hate Green Bay so that has tainted my view on things, but I feel like it wasn't a great situation to be put into as far as media and fan expectations. Being the next guy after a HoF QB is setting you up to be the scapegoat if the team goes downhill, especially if they trad away Rodgers and he is successful elsewhere. I'd much rather be on a middle of the road team playing under a mediocre QB in my first years than on a team with the GOAT QB.. I hope he exceeds fans expectations, but he might not even get playtime until Rodgers retires.

Re: Jordan love update
Most everyone has criticized the Packers for picking J-Love but if that was what lit the fire back into Aaron Rodgers, it was worth the investment. Jordan may not even see the field for a few seasons if Rodgers can maintain his current level of play. Love will get his chance but it may not be anytime soon or even be with the Packers.Should give him plenty of time to learn and absorb the NFL game.

The Packers paid Jordan big money, so it's pretty clear he's still a big part of their plan.

Re: Jordan love update
A lot of fans are more mad at Green Bay for not drafting enough weapons- especially at receiver.
I’m not sure about 2020 but Rogers has often been amongst the highest paid players. Other future HoF QBs are taking less money in order to get weapons. Brady and Brees make significantly less. To the tune of 8 million which can get you am excellent receiver or 2 solid weapons.

They gave up 300+ yards on the ground in the NFC championship. WR was not the problem.Imakeitrain wrote: ↑November 11th, 2020, 11:38 amA lot of fans are more mad at Green Bay for not drafting enough weapons- especially at receiver.

Re: Jordan love update
I follow the Packers very closely. Reading the forums and all that. No one is mad at JLove, just the perceived lack of immediate help. Aaron Rodger has had a resurgence of MVP form this year so far. I don't think very many people, including the packer organization, expected that. JLove will get a shot at starting with a team in the NFL. Its just a matter of when and where. It is definitely a good thig for Love that he isn't starting right away.

Re: Jordan love update
It never helps your defense when your offense is consistently going three and out. Another WR or solid TE could make a big difference IMHO.Chod wrote: ↑November 12th, 2020, 12:05 pmThe Outside linebacker position has gone downhill significantly this year -MWCFAN12 wrote: ↑November 11th, 2020, 11:47 amThey gave up 300+ yards on the ground in the NFC championship. Re: Jordan love update
I doubt that the receivers and TEs would be considereed a problem if Aaron Rogers..or Jordan Love, were playing QB for the Aggies...loltaniataylor wrote: ↑November 12th, 2020, 3:30 pmHEY!! Re: Jordan love update
Love is taking the brunt of the angst as fans feel like a 1st round pick was wasted for future use when they are still good enough to win today and need players that can help now and especially in year two.
