Man I don’t want to see Peasley either! In the small sample size we have he doesn’t look that much better. Let’s let the young guys like Calvin or Legas get some experience! FCS QBs playing with FCS talent in a body bag game against FBS talent perform better. FCS talent? There is not a level of football including recreational semi pro where you would want that guy as QB. His inaccuracy as alone assures that. What a crappy situation. I really feel bad for Jordan, he really seems to be an awesome representative of the university. If the opportunity presented itself would he have any interest returning next year? Legas was on the sideline and in some of the timeout huddles later on in the game, and looked like he thought he was going in at a few points. Why he didn't get a chance is so far beyond me. Like, if Shelley's performance on the field and sideline demeanor aren't enough to get you benched, I have no clue what is.

With the players we have on offense I think it was safe to say that we were not going to be the best offense this year. That being said Colombi would have made our offense at least respectable. I am sure the defense would be a little better if our offense could sustain some drives. I would take Kent any day of the week over Shelley (which is sad). Kent had some issues, but he was a better runner and sadly a better passer. Shelley is a poor man’s Kent Myers. Myers had more arm talent and was a better runner. Myers’ pocket awareness was just as bad though.

I am not sure Peasley will be able to play. If he did have COVID-19 he will have to sit I think 14 days which would put it past the WYO game. This really makes me question Maile's coaching abilities. He seems like a great a great guy, but why in the world would anyone with any amount of football knowledge keep trotting Shelley out series after series? I'm sure there is more going on behind the scenes but I think we got a nice peek behind the curtain today with the antics.

Well, peasly was taking all reps and then COVID and then back to Shelly with the assumption that it’s better for the other 10 players to have an experienced qb. So I can see the logic.

Canceling the Wyoming game with Covid running rampant wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Regroup and give the young guys a chance to get some reps with Shelley taking a hike.
