Sad. Well thanks for the memories. It is better to experience joy and suffer heartbreak than not feel anything at all. You will not be forgotten jason shelley!

I think we would all like to forget the time he spent here. Has not been pretty. Hopefully he can figure something out for him, never want to see people fail

I for one was hoping to have him as a safety next year, but then again, realize it was likely quarterback or bust here, and that he is going somewhere else if safety is his only option.

He wasn't a good QB and unfortunately for him, GA put him in a position where he couldn't succeed. Once GA left, Shelley was toast.
Yeah that Hail Mary was probably the best highlight. Really more of a better catch than throw. I wish Shelley the best. Never fun to see Aggies not succeed. It’ll be interesting to see what happens this short week.
Probably a lot of feelings of vindication in the Colombi house right now. Had Henry’s world turned upside down by a coach who would last three more games, all for a QB that would last four games.
I knew the decision to bring Shelley on late would be bad, but I am still in awe of just how bad and just how quickly it all unraveled.
Henry has certainly made the best of the situation, and I am very happy for him.

Best memory of him...... can’t think of one..
I won’t miss under thrown balls by 20 yard. He’s not a QB . Best of luck tho

I have to imagine the morale on the team is higher now that Shelly is off of it. It didn't look like the teen was rallying around hit around him or respecting him anyways. Brightside is is we will get a chance to see what we have in Peasley and Cooper and possibly Josh. So the new coaching staff will know exactly if we're needing to bring in an impact QB for next year. One nice thing is the one-time transfer that is coming up hopefully we'll be able to get a decent quarterback in then with the promise of starting right away.

Some would argue he could have made out with every girl at USU on the A and still wouldn't be a True Aggie. Considering how it ended, I wouldn't disagree. Not because he wasn't a good player. I respect many Aggie student athletes who show up on campus and bust their tail for the University even if it doesn't lead to wins. What is harder to respect is violating team rules and being a cancer to the point where he gets kicked off the team 4 games into the season. This was even with USU being more than fair to him giving him keys to the camaro (or maybe this year it should be referred to as an old beaten down station wagon).

Where will we ever find someone to hand off the ball?

Oh yeah, complete vindication for Columbi. As you stated, here is a guy who was kicked to the curb by a coach who 3 games later would no longer be with the team for a player who 4 games later would no longer be with the team. And yeah it is absolutely nuts how quickly he received that vindication and in such a strong way. This season has been such an absolute trainwreck. We still would have been bad with Colombi. We have bigger issues than one position, but he could have been a strong stabilizing force that we clearly don't have.
He's probably tired of watching his senior season go to $hit.
Any interest on his part in coming back next year? Any indication from the school on how many additional scholarships we can handle?
Although they will always love Utah State, the Colombi camp has moved on.
In regards to scholarships available, as long as no one decommits, we have 6 or 7 left for the 2021 class. Expect whoever the new coach is to go grad transfer heavy over the summer with push forwards.

I meant Shaq Bond and how many existing seniors well accommodate next year if they want to come back over the 85 limit?

As it stands right now, I don't think teams are allowed to exceed the 85 scholarship limit. Therefore the options for high school or JuCo players in the 2021 class are really limited. I'm not sure which seniors are returning for 2021. I've heard Carson Terrell and Marcus Moore mentioned. I've also heard Jaylen Warren and Devontae Henry-Cole. I don't expect senior WR Sean Carter back.

Returning seniors won’t count towards the 85 limit next year.
