scores from around the country

Post by agtrain » November 5th, 2010, 10:02 am

I remember hearing this come from the PA at Utah State games during a timeout why not anymore. Could we not run score updates across the scoreboard?? Maybe someone knows thanks in advance

I thought the big screen score board was only for running ads on. Do you really think it could serve another purpose besides that?

Probably the only way that'll happen in this day and age is if it's something like:
"Scores around the country," brought to you by MEGACONGLOMOCORP!

Everything has to be paid for nowadays...

Im thinking the guy in the press box thats worried about "its another aggie" FIRST DOWN when were down 45-7 could just annouce some scores, even if it is just in the wac. Dont think that would cost much

One of these days when I'm as rich as Archie I'm going to pay for all the equipment and time so that the engineering and CS depts can do a telecommunciations project where they show games on TV/jumbotron with a 1st down line, box score that doesn't blow, and random score updates. I'm pretty poor now so don't wait too long.

I like it that they do not report scores. I usually have a game or two DVR'ing at home, it is nice not to know the outcomes.
