What happens if someone picks up vouchers but doesn't use them? Will they continue to sell to the public while they are waiting for the vouchers to come in? Can the game sell out before all the vouchers are used?
There is no guarantee with the vouchers until they are redeemed at the ticket office. So, people who wait until Saturday morning run the risk of being disappointed if there are no seats left at that point. Tickets can still be purchased by the public right now. Those who have redeemed their vouchers have their seats assigned and those seats are as if someone bought tickets.

Wait, is it really $124 to purchase a ticket half-way up the blue seats? I'm sorry, I love USU football, but that is ridiculous.

Looking at the ticket website it is weird. There was probably 500+ tickets opened up in the south end zone that were previously showing as sold. Not sure what that is.

Yea, seems to be more people returning tickets than purchasing them

West side seats have been a lot more expensive since the press box was built. I still remember buying 3 game packs over there for $35 but those days are long gone. The cheapest chairbacks are $69.

They also have them at $138, $104, $89, and $69 in the blue seats. The bleachers are $35-$55 and kids are $23. Just looked at other teams hosting games this week: Fresno’s range is from $90 to $27, Air Force range from $225 to $30, San Diego State’s are from $10 to $45 and next week at Boise range from $30-69 with limited availability (secondary market starts at $41 on Vivid for GA).

My personal opinion is that tickets are a bit high for this market. I feel like if seats were a little less we get more butts in the seats. But then again it’s all about maxing your revenue. Maybe we have the right price for that.

I disagree. Take the cheapest tickets at $35. You take your family of five and you are already over $150 (college sports should be something you can take your kids to imo). A lot of semi interested fans will just say no thanks. Just my opinion. Certainly can see the argument from the other side. But I do think we leave some seats open to that. But that’s the way of all college football. I’d love to see some areas we rarely sell at at $10

Kids tickets for Boise and BYU are $23. The other games kid tickets are $13. You can also get a family season ticket package (5 tickets for ~$400). The Boise and BYU games ticket prices were higher because of the opponent. I don't fault anyone if they cannot go or choose not because of price, but there are plenty of reasonable ticket prices for families that want to attend.

Good point, but don't season tickets start at 105? Family of 5 is now 525 for 30 tickets or about 18 bucks a piece.

Agreed we do have extremely cheap options for season tickets.

One place not selling for this particular game are the tickets the Broncos didn’t sell. Well those cheap as I don’t think you sell them anyways.

I’m just trying to think of ways to get more involved. There are probably people in the valley not willing to spend $500 but might be interested in doing a game at $50-$60 abs that’s what they can spend for the year

The athletic department should go back to offering the discounted ticket deal that was printed on Lee's Marketplace's (or any other business's) shopping bags. The coupons were only valid on the day of the game, but they were cheap. It doesn't devalue your season ticket holders price because they have their seats guaranteed for every game, and don't have to deal with the stress of wondering if there will be any tickets left, but you offer a cheap option for the price conscious person who can decide at the last minute to go to a game. It is a win-win without upsetting your top donors and season ticket holders.

2019: 18,314

2015: 22,509
2013: 25,513
2009: 18,777
2007: 18,864

I think back to 2007 when Boise took over Logan and likely outnumbered Aggies at that game. The number of Boise fans in the stands has dipped, but attendance been consistent. If you want a cheap game, the Hawaii tickets are as low as $10 on stubhub (fees included). If you want cheap tickets for every game, that’s gone. You could alway go see Michael Bublé from the nosebleed seats in Vivint for over $100 a ticket.

If you can’t sell out a game like tomorrow then pricing is too high for the market you are in.

These prices would get you the best seats that Penn State has to offer except for michigan and auburn. Same with Alabama.

For a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) to sit at the 50 yard line on the east side is $156 total. You can buy that today from the ticket office. For the Villanova at Penn State tomorrow the cheapest non-secondary market ticket on the 50 is $82 plus fees ($23 plus fees on the secondary market). Sure the seats are cheaper on the secondary market because there are games against Auburn and Michigan. Games against Boise and BYU sell tickets, which is why you can buy $7 Hawaii tickets.

I think these are the tickets reserved for players family, recruits, and as part of coaching contracts. My guess is next week we’ll see another group of tickets releases, so don’t pay what the secondary market is selling for just keep a close eye on the ticket office offerings.

The seats in Section 113, for example, are very clearly over-priced. There's probably 200 empty seats over there for what will be a great game.

Make those the cheapest seats in the house at say $15/pop and make it the "Family Fun Zone" and everyone is happy (minus the extreme cheap-o's).

I paid $110 for a ticket last Saturday night to byu vs asu for seats that were 5 rows from the very top of the stadium at midfield. I think it was like row 67 from the bottom?

Plenty of pricing options to keep everyone happy. There should be no need to compalin.

Not exactly. If you have no market for your product you can price close to zero and it won’t matter.
Demand is the issue for USU not pricing.

I don’t know. I bought a bunch of GA tickets this afternoon and not only was I able to give them away in about two hours, I am getting flooded with requests for them. There is at minimum a market for free tickets.

The seats in Section 113, for example, are very clearly over-priced. There's probably 200 empty seats over there for what will be a great game.

Make those the cheapest seats in the house at say $15/pop and make it the "Family Fun Zone" and everyone is happy (minus the extreme cheap-o's).
Fresno St. is doing this for the cheap seats to their game tonight. Granted it is against UNLV, but they are selling tix for $13 in an effort to create atmosphere.

I have an extra ticket (great seat on the west side) for the Boise game tomorrow. DM me if interested.

There are only about 350 tickets available for the USU-Boise State game tomorrow. A donor purchased 1,000 tickets two days ago and has given them to students of Cache Valley elementary schools and their families.
