Per Sagarin this week, Ags picked to lose at home to Wyoming by 2 and by 6 to Boazy, and by 3 to San Jose on the road. Ags picked to beat the stench in a pick'em, Hawai'i by 11, and CSU by 7 at home, and to beat New Mejico by 12, Vegas by 13, and the NewMags by 23 on the road. That is an 9-3 record and 2nd in the Mountain Division.

Predicted to lose to Boise at home, but beat BYU at home? To me that doesn't make sense. Both will be tough games, but I like our chances more against Boise than BYU. I would love to win both.

What I think is interesting is that Sagarin would have us predicted to lose to both WSU and Air Force on the road, after beating both of them on the road. Close games but don't count us out of the Wyoming and SJSU games yet!

Also not sure how the U is predicted to beat both BYU and SDSU easily with losses to both. Sagarin must still have a lot of last season baked in.

Don't forget Wyoming. Sagarin predicts we go 1-2 at home against 3 of the top 4 remaining on the regular season schedule (SJS is the 4th). They think we go 1-4 against 'em with 3 at home? 2-2 makes more sense, and this Saturday's game doesn't really tell us much about how the rest will go unless we either (a) beat Boazy or (b) are uncompetitive against Boazy. The likeliest outcome is we are within 2 TDs in a loss and within a single TD in a win against the Boazybunch, seems to me. We still have a decent shot at the stench and Wyoming so long as we don't cr@p the bed Saturday.

Again, Fresno State should be the highest ranked. Wyoming is overrated in sagarin. Saturday is going to put a lot of things into perspective.

Side note:. I like our chances against YBU more than our chances against Bozo State.

Note that with the Sag predictor, Fresno is rated slightly higher than Wyoming. That's absolutely fair at this stage of the season. Boazy being rated higher than either and all three higher than us is absolutely irresistible, given history. That we are slightly favored over the stench at home is easily within the realm of accurate.
