Post by USU78 » October 25th, 2021, 10:10 am

Scoring:

USU ((28.6+31.8)/2=30.2)> UH ((29+28.7)/2=28.85)

USU wins 30-28

Offense:

Rushing: USU ((161.3+151.3)/2)=156.3)< UH ((175.9+204.1)/2=190)
Passing: USU ((303.4+297)/2)=300.2)> UH (246.6+241.7)/2=244.15)
Total: USU (156+300.2=456.2)> UH (190+244.15=434.15)

USU Outgains 456-434

No, not another nailbiter. I want at least one stress free game this year.

You might have to wait until the Aggies play one of the New Mexico teams.

With the way this team has been playing, maybe not even then!

Classic Blunders:
1) Getting involved in a land war in Asia
2) Going in against a Sicilian when death is on the line

Hawaii ain't that good, especially off the rock. On the road they are 1-3 with the win at NMSU. Average score on the road is 36-24 against, including their 41-21 win in Las Cruces. Yes, they should get some credit for those road losses all being against pretty good teams in UCLA, Oregon State, and Nevada, but Aggies still win by a touchdown.

I agree with all of these points. I personally believe the Ags will cover, even if the line gets up to -8 (and I doubt it'll get that high). At the -6 it's now settled at, I think USU covers. I don't believe in Hawai'i's run defense. I think we absolutely get more than 150ish to go along with our 300ish passing.

I don't know that my hear can take another ~2 point nail biting win. I certainly enjoy the wins and am loving those, but it would be nice to have a cushion and not have to worry in the 4th quarter of the outcome.
