Re: Coordinator Vacancy Tracker
For a start, It looks like Illinois is going after UTSA's guy.
I second that Ole Miss is a threat to go after Banda.
Also, anyone care to search for all the schools with an vacancy at receivers coach and at strength coach, two other positions where we would most want to hold on to our guys.
Notable is that Utah has a vacancy at running backs and is a threat to go after Chuckie or DJ.
I also think that if we can hold onto ONE OF, but NOT BOTH of Tucker or Banda, I would rather hold on to Banda cause I think Cefalo would be ready to replace Tucker at OC.

Miami is not hiring Tucker. I don’t think he’s a fit with Bielema at Illinois.
I imagine Georgia will give the job to Schumann alone or Muschamp.

Yep, you can take Georgia off the board. Schumann and Muschamp are going to be CO-DCs for next year.

Add Kansas State and Pitt as open for Offensive. Purdue and Rutgers for Defensive.

I left them off my list because I just can't see either coordinator moving on for those particular jobs.GameFAQSAggie wrote: ↑January 6th, 2022, 7:48 amAdd Kansas State and Pitt as open for Offensive. Purdue and Rutgers for Defensive.

Re: Coordinator Vacancy Tracker
In all reality, we never know, although I will agree that Rutgers I can see Banda turning down if they did want him. Those schools still have money to throw, and we for instance did once lose our special teams coach to Purdue. And we once thought we would hold onto Todd Orlando until a P5 school came calling, then lost him to Houston, though we can hope Jim Laub uping the ante for assistant pay will help us not lose assistants to G5 schools.aggies22 wrote: ↑January 6th, 2022, 7:58 amI left them off my list because I just can't see either coordinator moving on for those particular jobs.GameFAQSAggie wrote: ↑January 6th, 2022, 7:48 amAdd Kansas State and Pitt as open for Offensive. Perhaps the rest of us could up our donations so we don’t have to rely solely on Jim Laub.GameFAQSAggie wrote: ↑January 6th, 2022, 8:53 amIn all reality, we never know, although I will agree that Rutgers I can see Banda turning down if they did want him. Re: Coordinator Vacancy Tracker- UPDATED
I’d be shocked if Mack brown went back to the manny Diaz tree.

Re: Coordinator Vacancy Tracker- UPDATED
And that turned out to be correct. North Carolina took Indiana's Defensive Coordinator, so now Indiana is on the board for Defensive.Intermeddler wrote: ↑January 7th, 2022, 10:54 amI’d be shocked if Mack brown went back to the manny Diaz tree.
Kansas State Offensive is off the board, they gave the job full time to the guy they had doing it on an interim basis. And Illinois has officially taken UTSA's guy.

Indiana is off the defensive board. They have hired Minnesota's defensive line coach.
