I remember thinking he was going to be a slot WR when he signed but then quickly filled a need at CB and found PT early. Good luck to Cam - wherever he goes!

We really need to get much bigger at CB. Trotting out 5'-8 to 5'-10" guys is not going to get it done anymore.

Or maybe in that same vein, the staff made a few position changes with guys already on the roster. We do have some serious depth at safety, could one of those guys slide to CB? Hall perhaps?

No. We offered LaCrea Pleasant-Johnson from utah who would have 3 to play 3 because at the time we had 4 senior cornerbacks who could all potentially leave after the 2022 season. They had a chance to add quality depth early and wanted to take that chance. NOW they are definitely in the market for another CB. One name to keep an eye on could be Nicktroy Fortune from West Virginia.

In the event that a cornerback is not added from the transfer portal, look for the staff to toy with position changes. No better time than spring ball.

Ike will stay at safety. They love his aggressive nature.

When next Monday rolls around I suspect we'll see Mike Anyanwu and Andre Grayson or Xavion Steele taking 1st team reps.

Gurvan Hall, Monte McGary, and Hunter Reynolds have all been mentioned as having the versatility to play CB.

I am going to assume it was something along the lines, of Cam wanted a chance to play receiver and the staff said no. So he went the Rayshad Lewis route and decided to leave because his feelings were hurt.
