I’m getting more and more anti bacon. It just doesn’t taste the way it did pre pandemic- but a bacon blue sounds amazing

Best burger I ever had I got in Wales. It had peanut butter, bacon, beer jelly and cheese. Amazing burger. I wanted to try so many of their other burgers. Check out the menu.

Similar to my favorite, the Nut Butter Burger at Lucky 13 in SLC…
Listening to Blake all I can say is I hope we turned a corner. First half last Thursday gave me hope, second half seemed like we stepped back. I still think the No-call targeting was one of the most pivotal plays of the game, but in the end we still need to play better.

I make my own jalapeno garlic burger patties. Chopped jalapeno and fresh garlic mixed into the ground meat. I also put thousand island dressing on the burger with some pico de gallo. Is that a sin? Delicious.

My favorite joint in this area was allegedly favorited by Obama too (he has eaten there)
They named a damn amazing burger after him
“applewood bacon, onion marmalade, roquefort cheese & delicious horseradish mayo sauce“
They had a Trump and Hillary burger during the 2016 election too. It’s a small chain with a few locations locations.

I had this burger at my hotel during a recent work trip to Austin…it was fantastic! I added the bacon and with my company paying I didn’t mind that it cost me over $30 for a burger.

The only time I spent more than $30 on a burger was in 2019 at Le Meridien Bora Bora. It wasn’t all that great, but it must have been expensive to import the beef, etc., to the motus.breadysmith wrote: ↑October 4th, 2022, 10:48 pmI had this burger at my hotel during a recent work trip to Austin…it was fantastic! Sabores in Logan has a peanut butter burger that people rave about. I haven't tried it, but I have never had a bad item from Sabores.
Creamy peanut butter, pepper jack cheese, chipotle aioli, Lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, and Sriracha

We went there in June, and I was surprised on the first day when it was dark by 5:30 pm. Also, we spent hours sitting on the beach facing the main island. I was completely disoriented because the sun moved across the sky from right to left. Both of those things led me to conclude that the earth really is round.

If you leave and come back, it will have turned into either a new discussion on astronomical phenomena in the southern hemisphere, vacation tales from the south Pacific, or 70s folk rock lyrics.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑October 5th, 2022, 8:57 amwhen I saw how many replies this topic has, I assumed he said something controversial. Side note is that right before reading this I ate a burger with jalapeños on it.
Back to BA, did he talk much about Air Force and what the outlook of this week might be? Seems the entire MW is volatile and any team can win each week.

Ahhh Wales! the land of my fathers fathers. Love to go there sometime.
I've had an incredible Snake River wagyu burger in Idaho. Had my first burger with jelly at Elements in Logan. Probably the best was a burger that was someone else's order that I got by mistake at Maddox drive-in. It was definitely an off the menu personalized one-of-a-kind order. Just my lucky day.
Supposedly one of the best burger joints in the world is here in the Bay Area. I've never been but I saw a show where football player Marshawn Lynch did a tasting of a bunch of their burgers. I'll never forget him saying that the truffle burger he tried "tastes like my grandma's couch."

I am not going to lie. Sabores' PB Burger "slaps".
But it is just one of several unique and fun items on the menu.
That place is like 1000X better than Chili's or Olive Garden.
It is all unique and all fresh.
Nice value for the money, too.
Delicious and fresh food from all over the world.
I'm not sure they even serve anything much over about $12 or $13 bucks.
Their new location is also great! Certainly a lot better for students and most businesses in Logan.
Loads of easy parking close by too.
Much better space to accommodate more people overall and larger groups as needed.
And stop by and split a Puro Churro next door for desert!

Morty's runs a special with a peanut butter burger every now and then. It wasn't bad.
The money burger at Morty's is the kimchi burger with a fried egg on top. Bibim bop on a bun.
And yes, Sabores is awesome.

Turns out I do have relatives in old Mexico, they show up on my family Ancestry DNA report. Family history says that one of my great great uncles was a polygamist and had another wife (or 2) in Mexico. Not sure how your family discuss the issue, but in my family it's never a direct relative who practiced polygamy. It's always an uncle or a distant cousin. Or it just never happened. Until the records show it did....
Viva Mexico!
