WIth the WAC having just gotten even less attractive than the conference that Montana just spurned, I believe Karl Benson, now out of most options, will now approach additional FCS schools with membership offers (if he hasn't already).

Specifically, I believe UC Davis, Cal Poly and Weber State will be on that list.

Unfortunately, I think it will result in exactly 0 new members to the WAC.

LA Tech will leave at first opportunity (if one presents itself). USU and NMSU obviously would too, but those opportunities are even fewer than LA Tech's.

I know, I know "big things are in the works" and "just wait until the BCS conferences start shifting" because "USU will find itself in a much better situation than it is in now." Waiting with bated breath...
