LOL...oh man...brutal commentary on the recruiting competition but so so true.
How do we expect to compete against our peers on the field when we refuse to go head to head with them or at least recruit on their level off of it?

I hear what you are saying, but these guys have things you cannot coach, no one wanted royals either. Any scholarship given is a gamble really. That lineman is huge and the RB looks really similar to Kerwich.

To be fair, Wayne State is an outlier for Turner, dude has some P5 offers.
I bring up Wayne State when I see it not to make fun, but because I have a personal connection to the school so I really am interested to see it.

I hear the Royals argument but what happened to all the other Black Hills State guys we recruited? I think Hellmann transferred but I’m not sure if the other guys will ever play.
It may be that the dude with 4.3 speed who can leap out of the stadium was a better pickup than some of these other guys. Also remember that time that they kept Royals on the Bench while McGriff and NyNy got to play? Hoot Farms remembers.

I know his offers aren't great. But if you can get a 6 foot 7, 320 pound kid that is in high school. I think you probably take him. You are not expecting O-line guys to contribute right away anyway.

I knew a guy in high school who was 6’5” 320 and he was a fat sack of garbage who was an absolute turnstile at left tackle.
