I can only conclude that…
Santa is bringing us a conference championship this weekend and a win over BYU next week and just felt he couldn’t spoil us with a win today too.

You better be right because I'm still pissed!!! There is no way I'll ever be able to watch this replay knowing the end that is coming.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 12:07 amSanta is bringing us a conference championship this weekend and a win over BYU next week and just felt he couldn’t spoil us with a win today too.

I really really really wish that BYU wasn’t our next opponent right after this. I can’t take two L’s like this in a row.

Re: I can only conclude that…
I don't think I can stomach it as well. BYU lost Baxter and their other big Harward will probably not play. They play good defense, but have struggled on offense. We have to stop Barcello and not let him get going from 3. It seems like every time we play them somebody that is not expected to gets on fire against us. I actually think we have a pretty good chance to beat them. This will be our first true road game and is in a place that is very hard to win at.SwaggieAggie wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 10:03 amI really really really wish that BYU wasn’t our next opponent right after this. We haven't beat BYU since 2011...2004 in Provo. It's time!

That's pretty mind-blowing this far into the season.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 10:22 amI don't think I can stomach it as well. Re: I can only conclude that…
Seems more true to form for Harward to suprise everybody by not only playing but having the best game of his career and leading them to a fluke victory. But that wont happen. We got a real shot at them boys and girls.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 10:22 amI don't think I can stomach it as well. BYU lost Baxter and their other big Harward will probably not play. I do believe it is truly mental at this point. I don't know how they are going to overcome it other than they have some new faces and a new coach, but they can play that team and beat them. It just seems that mentally we have not been tough enough some of those times.SwaggieAggie wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 10:44 amAnd every single one of those BYU teams have been extremely beatable.aggiesdotcom wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 10:28 amWe haven't beat BYU since 2011...2004 in Provo. Re: I can only conclude that…
Oh it's completely mental. Queta's only off game all year last season was against BYU. Sam Merrill never had a great game against them. Missed critical free throws in 2020, missed a gimmie layup in the final minute in 2019, and then 2018 when we were graced with Nick Emery's wonderful return, BYU was completely fired up for it and played their best game all year.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 12:14 pmI do believe it is truly mental at this point. Only guy on this roster that has proven to be clutch against BYU is Rylan Jones. And he'll need a big bounce back game.

Not trying to be a debbie downer here, but I would recommend not convincing yourself into expecting a win in Pwovo...unless you like disappointment.

We’ve lost zero times in Provo with Ryan Odom as our coach.

He will. The frustration over the St. Marys loss and momentum from the football team will carry over to the byu game. I think our guys will be ready and we'll win convincingly.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 12:07 amSanta is bringing us a conference championship this weekend and a win over BYU next week and just felt he couldn’t spoil us with a win today too.

I can only conclude that…
Stoked about football win and I’m taking a trip L.A over it but still far from over this. We could have had both. IF we beat byu I might be able to swallow it but even then we should have had a chance to have all 3.

Santa, what the hell, man?
Tell you what. Give us wins against NOLA, @Weber, and @Iowa and it’s forgiven. If not, we’re done, dude.

Naw, the Iowa game is a “must win.” I thought we needed to go 2-2 against SMC, BYU, WSU, and Iowa to stay on track. We are 0-2.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 8th, 2021, 9:28 pmI would be thrilled with just the NOLA and Weber game.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑December 8th, 2021, 9:25 pmSanta, what the hell, man?

Re: I can only conclude that…
Dear Santa,
To make it up to me, for Christmas I’d like Sitake to go to Oregon and for BYU to be stuck with Nick Howell or Anae.
See, I’m only wishing for people to get promoted. That means I’ve been a good boy.
