Why we are playing Montana Western at this point
Stew said on the radio that the reason they decided to schedule the Montana Western game at this point in the season is because we have a one-game week when we play Idaho, and he didn't want to have two one-game weeks.

Schedule list this as an exhibition game. Does that mean the new incoming redshirts could play in this game? I know Medlin cannot as he is not new to USU this year but can the others redshirts play?

Oddly, this isn't an exhibition game for us (we already had our maximum two against Laval and Grand Canyon), but it is for them (different rules in NAIA, maybe?) So regular roster rules apply -- no Medlin, no Leon, no Clifford...AggieHoops wrote:Schedule list this as an exhibition game. Does that mean the new incoming redshirts could play in this game? It may not be "exhibition," but it still does not count for RPI or anything of that nature.

It's not an exhibition for USU. This is from this week's press release:AggieHoops wrote:Schedule list this as an exhibition game. Does that mean the new incoming redshirts could play in this game? I know Medlin cannot as he is not new to USU this year but can the others redshirts play?
Utah State's game against Montana Western counts as one of its 31 games during the 2010-11 season, however the Bulldogs have designated the game as an exhibition on its schedule.
