I'm watching the Morehead St. vs. Lousville game and noticed Scott Barnes sitting next to Craig Thompson on one of the courtside tables. What's going on here?

I was told that as part of his duties on the selection committee, barnes was assigned to be at one of the tournament locations.

I'm just wondering why the crap he's not in Tuscon. He best be catching the next flight out of Denver.

I guess it probably has something to do with his selection committee duties.

He's not allowed to be at the same site as the Aggies until they reach the Sweet 16. Therefore, had the Aggies ended up in Denver, he would have been forced to switch locations with another member of the committee.

All the other AD's on the selection committee got to see their teams play. Barnes' negotiating abilities forced him to go to Denver.

Also, I heard that the committee wanted to give us a seven seed but once Barnes started negotiating we ended up at a 12.

no need, he already knows. I'm suer he is probably buddy buddy with CT, just like the Pres of UNLV is friends with Carl Benson... SO WHAT?
