Just saw this, via CBS Sports: Utah State will play in the 2016 Cancun Challenge along with Auburn, Purdue, Texas Tech and others ...

This year it was November 24-25. I don't think the 2016 dates have been announced yet but I'd assume it will be similar. First 2 games are played on campus and the last 2 games in Cancun.

If Cancun is set up like some of the other four-game eight-team events, USU will get two home games against two of the mid-major participants and will then play in a two-game, four-team bracket in Cancun along with the other headliners.

This is what we had in the Corpus Christi tournament years ago, except (possibly for the only time in history for these types of tournaments) one of the mid-majors refused to play its game in Logan.
