I know he was injured in the juco playoffs and thought he was unlikely to play for the Aggies this season. But the latest release lists him without further comment (unlike Klay Stall, who is specifically mentioned as out for the season).

Will we see Groot?

Unless he only suffered a partial tear I don’t know how he’d be ready to go.

I still can’t believe Crew Ainge is on the team. I keep waiting to hear news of an addition to the Estes center paid for by an anonymous booster of the basketball program.

Groot was out on the football field before last game with many of the other student athletes. Came out on crutches. Not sure when/if we see him this year.

Roche experienced complications from the original surgery. He had another surgical procedure done about a week ago. He is out for the season.

That is too bad, I think he can really help. He doesn’t shoot 3s and is strong on boards.

We are going to miss having him because we need bigs. But I’d say there’s not much evidence to support that he’s strong on the boards. He was the 4th best rebounder on his JC team with Brito-esque numbers.

To me those don’t quite translate to the second coming of Paul Milsap.
